Synopsis: As a deadly virus spreads throughout the world, doctors battle to find a cure. But the fear and disinformation that spreads along with the disease proves to be an equally formidable problem.

Elliott has signed on to  join Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Laurence Fishburne, Geyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, John Hawkes, Chin Han, Josie Ho, Demetry Martin,  Jennifer Ehle,  Bryan Cranston in Stephen Soderbergh’s new SARS inspired thriller,  ‘Contagion’.

The film will be released in theaters October 21, 2011.

Elliott Gould will guest-star in the second episode of CSI‘s upcoming  season.

The episode will air on Thursday, September 30th, 2010.

Gould will play an old-school casino mogul who crosses paths with the team when one of his casinos becomes the crime scene. The episode will be particularly important for Catherine, whose father, Sam Braun, was also a casino boss.

On April 25th, Elliott Gould discussed his career and received a lifetime achievement award at the Jewish Community Center in Rochester New York to help raise funds for the JCC and screened his classic film MASH with a Q & A session afterward.

The 24th Israel Film Festival, the largest showcase of Israeli films in the United States will open on Saturday, December 5, 2009 and continue through December 13 at the SVA Theater in New York City (333 W. 23^rd St.).

Opening night will find celebrated actor Elliott Gould on hand to receive the 2009 IFF Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his tremendous achievements and body of work.  This Academy Award Nominee has over 200 film and television credits to his name, and is easily recognizable the world over.  He recently returned from Israel and is a strong supporter of Israeli Cinema and its filmmakers.  The Israel Film Festival is proud to honor him.
